My ultimate goal is to help you remove the obstacles that stand in the way of you realizing your full potential!
My approach is collaborative, active and present focused. I provide a place of emotional safety where I listen to you carefully and respond honestly. I believe that understanding why a problem has become a problem is not enough. Actually “Doing something about it” is what’s important. Therefore, my work is focused on eliciting behavioral changes that are based on your personal goals and values. I give honest feedback and actively develop strategies for change. My intent is to help you to live more fully and joyfully. While some disorders tend to be chronic in nature, the goal to effectively manage the symptoms so that you can start living a more productive and vital life immediately is, nonetheless, reasonable and attainable.
I use variety of CBT therapeutic approaches and techniques to meet the psychological needs of my clients. Among them are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). What unites all these approaches is that they are part of Mindful Psychology and make use of mindfulness principals.
I divide my time between two offices, in downtown Palo Alto and downtown San Francisco.
